Benson Lam is an Amateur 4 Dan Weiqi player, certified by the Singapore Weiqi Association, with over 30 years of playing experience and more than 10 years of coaching experience. He began learning Weiqi at the age of 14 and represented Singapore at the 1988 World Youth Go Championship in Paris, France. Between 1986 and 2000, he won numerous local Weiqi championships in Singapore.

Passionate about promoting the game of Weiqi, Benson is dedicated to helping learners of all ages build strong fundamentals, develop strategic thinking, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the game. He is also an active Life Member of the Singapore Weiqi Association.

• Conducted Weiqi courses in English and Mandarin for both adults and children at the Singapore Weiqi Association since 2010.
